With 4 days until the Sports Nats there's only 199 entries out of 1600 allotted spots.Any NHRA
apologists have any positive spin to put on that?
I think the economy and alot of disgruntled and low buck racers are making a statement.

Not as much as last year, the last of three straight races is going to hurt the car count.

For whatever reason, very few people seem to pre-enter for ANY of the Sportsnationals. There were only 138 pre-entries for Belle Rose, so while I don't think Fontana will equal Belle Rose in entries, you can't really tell by the pre-entry list.
