Google R and H Collectibles and look under their Ford offerings. They have one but it is pricey.

To my knowledge the car from Michigan that was on E-bay never sold. I don't know the status of the CJ from Ohio.

This is not the Cobra Jet that was for sale in Michigan. There were two cars for sale on E-Bay, one from Michigan and one from Ohio. Neither of them sold the last time they were posted.

He did have the foresight to buy it and there are only 50 built. He paid at least $72,000 with sales tax. This # car came out of Varsity Ford and I know that they did not gouge the original buyers. The thirteen CJ's that they sold all went for MSRP plus tax. I just hope that they get raced and not collected in a museum. Ford plans on building fifty more for 2010,hopefully not with plug in electric motors. I don't think there will be to many more opportunities to buy a factory built race car JMO.

im pretty sure he has a dealer licens so that means no tax for him.... anyways we our on a budget we are rdy to spend at least 15K min to get the car rdy to be competive.... we really dont want to have to spend 100K for the car and have to put more money to get it rdy, at least not when we know there are 50 2010 cars coming out.... we r on the list so i guess we will just have to do the waiting game..... all im saying is it would be nice to get a 2008 cobra jet from someone who decided that didnt want it but we r not going to pay 25K mark up on it.....

Build a clone - start with any 05 or newer V6 shell and go to town. Not a numbered collectable but cheaper in the long run for a purpose built racer.
