1971 Bristol Photos

Since it's Bristol weekend, I thought I'd show some pics my friend, David Workman, took at Bristol in 1971.

These three photos were taken at Bristol in 1968 by Doug Potter. The blond standing by the Corvette is Doug's wife. They are in their seventies now and still together.

When your as good as Ronnie was back in the day Firestone produced tires with his name on them.
They are probably worth LOTS of $$$ if anyone has a set now...

I asked my dad what the deal was, he said Bill Abraham (excuse the spelling) made those tires for Ronnie in 1971. They were taken off the car when it was sold. My dad said they were a one off set and he has no clue what happened to them.
