Does anybody know what Byron has for fuel?
 

I need to get some Sunoco Purlpe For Byron this weekend. Does anyone know what they have at the track? I know VP is the official sponsor now but will they actually be there?

It says on the flyer for the race that VP is available at all Sportsman national events, so I guess they should have VP there...

On a normal weekend,there is Sunoco Purple readily available.Since this is an IHRA Pro-Am race with a Sportsnationals,I am not sure if they will be allowed to sell it.Its probably not on the way for you,but there is a Citgo off of I-355 at the North Avenue exit- 1458 Bloomingdale Rd Glendale Heights, IL that sells the Sunoco Purple at a pump in the rear for $5.99 a gallon.Their phone number is 1-630-665-4370.

I bought purple at the pro am last year.they did not check fuel at that race,and did not even have the equipment out to do it.So i had it checked at the next NHRA race I went to and it was way off of the scale.

There is a place relatively close to the track (Rockford, South West side) that sells all the Sunoco fuels....
The name of the place is Smith Oil.

I just got an Email back from Byron Dragway and they said that they have Sunoco Purple at the track and will be selling it all weekend.
