No rulebook from NHRA
Published in the current National Dragster NHRA announced that starting in 2010 the rulebook will be published online for members only. If you wish to have a hard copy you will have to purchase the book.
It will not be part of your membership package. Real nice, eh!!! Jeff Ross |
Re: No rulebook from NHRA
Part of the cost saving, expect more changes.

Re: No rulebook from NHRA
IHRA tried that. It lasted one year.
I guess if everyone that comes to the races has a wireless laptop, that is OK. Lucky for me, I don't have to use a laptop for work, and I don't have a personal one either. One of the biggest enjoyments of going racing is that I don't have to work on a computer when I'm there. |
Re: No rulebook from NHRA
You can just print it up at home, and carry around 286 one sided pages in your back pocket! It didn't work for IHRA, and I don't think it's going to work for NHRA, either.

"Will they still have a WEST COAST and an EAST COAST version?" Why would that change unless our above sea level factors are increased |
Re: No rulebook from NHRA
And of course NHRA will pass on the savings to us? Terrible idea in my opinion.

Re: No rulebook from NHRA
Why not just print the "Procedures" maual online instead? It has all the "real" rules, the rule book is just a guide. haha

Re: No rulebook from NHRA
Just adds to my growing list of reasons NOT to renew my membership in NHRA next year.
They're making it too easy... |
Re: No rulebook from NHRA
Next, will be National Dragster online only. Wait and see. Then, while we're not running our car They'll issue us a broom and help sweep up the track and empty the garbage cans.
