Engine Shipping and Insurance
 

Has anybody used Engine Shipping .Com to ship an engine? If so what was your experance, good or bad Also how about insurance? INSUREYOURFREIGHT.COM??
Same question if you have used them was it good or bad?

Haven't heard of them. I shipped an engine from California to Florida via Forward Air. Very easy to do and it was insured for the declared value for a reasonable price.

I am a racer based in SoCal and this is what I do for a living. I provide shipping services to a variety of industrial customers and routinely ship crated or palletized trannies, blocks, or even complete engines all over the US, Canada, & Mexico. My rates are competitive with any internet based company and you can put a face to the name.

For example, a 500lb big block Chrysler was just shipped from LA to Reno for about $125.00. Rates are different for all locations but I'd be happy to quote on anything you might need.
