Edel AFB Stumble..
I have been fighting a stumble and I am out of ideas. I have a 750 Edelbrock AFB on my street car that I am now going to start bracket racing. It drives fine but, when I built up against the converter (1800) then floor it, it stumbles bad and then may catch up and take off. It is a real simple combo. 1970 Nova 307/ turbo 350, 2000 stall. It has run high 14's and I am happy with that considering the combination. But, I have updated the heads, cam and intake and while it drives fine and runs alot stronger than before I can't get rid of this stumble. I have a good fuel pump with a regulator set a 5.5pds, I have raised and lowers the floats, set the accelerator pump to the most aggresive setting. Changed the rods, springs etc, set the initial timing as high as I want to set it, all with the same results. I could use any advise about this carb. Thank You

Re: Edel AFB Stumble..
On our cars it is usually an accelerator pump issue. Be sure that when you are a t stall speed you leave line there is plenty of squirt left. .. .adjust by bending rod on pump.
