Looking for Tommy Grove
 

Several of Grove's old buddies from his days of driving The Melrose Missle are trying to locate him. Any help will be appreciated.

Wish I could help,The last time i saw tommy was when dad cut the roof
off his car I was about 7 ,I sure hope he is still around .

Hey...tommy is alive...and very well :)...former father-in law of doug herbert (top fuel doug)...had a very successful long term business "run"...has a residence in north carolina (greater charlotte area)...believe he was to be @ york reunion...will get you contact info...if you need it...:) drake

We would appreciate any contact info you can provide. I was actually with Tommy when he made the first pass in the 1962 Melrose Missle at Vacaville raceway.

Tommy was a 2008 inductee in the East Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame in Henderson. He was at the reunion in 2008 and is living in the Charlotte area. You could contact Nancy Wilson, Director of Tourism, Vance County, NC.
