Old Timers at Indy
 

I just saw a item that Terry Earwood and John Livingston are going to be running stock and superstock at Indy. Earwood, Indy Champion, hasn't drag raced since 1977. Both are running camaros, Earwood in SS and Livingston in Stock. Average age in this years race is increasing. Good Luck you guys.

Terry has been driving that car for at least 2 years maybe more.

I was only commenting on what Earwood said in his interview with Competiton Plus. Went back and looked at it again and he did say he ran the car in three races earlier this year.

This is my family's 45th year of racing at the Big go, we are no rookies at this either. Neat to see all the veterans come back each year

We lost another good Mopar guy to them other off brand car guys, but it's good to see someone my age still racing.

Terry is still Mopar at heart. He was at the HEMI reunion in Ohio and has made a few passes in the Barnett Performance SS/AH car recently. First pass was a .009 light. He has been driving the Camaro for Livingston as has Jack Huff at a few races the last couple years. Terry still teaches driving for Skip Barber Racing and lives in Fl..

it is a good sign that the "Old Timers' are running at indy for sure > does anyone know what age a person can be before they are classified as an "Old Timer" ? LOL at most of the super stock and stock racers as we just might be one still LOl :):eek::p:D

my mother had the best line about old timers the other day, she said if we was playing golf all the time would anybody say a word about our ages, lol
