Actually just listed an old automotive storage yard today in Phoenix. Hasn't had a car moved in 30+ years. Amazing what some people consider treasures. But there were 4+ flathead engines and a few extra flat blocks. Probably not for sale as a family member of the owner has his eyes on the flat head stuff.
Run it by me what you'll pay for a block and / or complete engine and I'll see what I can do.
Owner is typical old man that thinks his crap is a real treasure. You know the type...

Sounds like this person may not be in touch with current pricing on these blocks. Flathead motors pop up "as is" on ebay for $400.00 to $500.00. Freight is a serious consideration. Good luck with the listing.
