On Track Insurance
Can someone in-the-know please explain about on-track insurance and how it applies to the car owner/racer? There was a incident at Epping over last weekend in Super Rod eliminations where a couple of cars were pretty much destroyed....anyone care to talk about on- track insurance, its cost, limitations, who has it, who doesn't,---and why? Thanks. WJ

Re: On Track Insurance
I have not heard of "on-track" coverage. Dick Kincaid offers coverage for off-track losses. He is probably on this site once in a while, give him a shout and see if he can enlighten us all on available coverages.

Re: On Track Insurance
I just this week got a quote from K&K at $1.50 per 1,000. Thought that was real reasonable. But they did not offer any on track. This was everywhere else....

Re: On Track Insurance
Be real care-full, I have a friend that thought he was covered everywhere except on the track and had a problem in the pits to find out that they did not pay. Ask a lot of questions and get everything in writing

Re: On Track Insurance
WWW.BISA.COM is the only place I have found that offers actual "On Track" insurance.....something like $40,000.00 car value is around 1000.00 to 1200.00 a year with a 1000.00 dollar deductable.
Check out thier web site.... one racer crashed on track had a check within 3 days.... another racers car burned to the ground at the finishline, again 3 days had a check. |
