En route Friday around 2am for the fun 495 mile tow south, hope to have a good time enjoying DRY weather(unlike Epping) the pro qualifying at night, the night of fire, and oh yea, maybe having fun in stock too. The pit crew/future competitors, will be biking around on a orange BMX, and a purple mountain bike enjoying the day off from school and a fun filled weekend. When they aren't calculating the dial and shaking their collective heads at the driving of dad.

Beard going?

I'll be there Friday morning.
Do we pull into the track or across the street in the field like last year?

Sportsman competitors participating at the IHRA President's Cup Nationals at Maryland International Raceway should be aware that there is a schedule correction.

The current issue of DRM lists the Friday start time as 10:00am. Since DRM went to press, that Friday start time has been corrected to 4:00pm. There will be one qualifying session for all sportsman competitors Friday along with Class eliminations in Stock and Super Stock.

The correct schedule has been posted on ihra.com for some time. A complete schedule can be found at

Will miss y'all this weekend! Good luck to everyone.

Why the late start for qualifying? We used to start about 9:00am.
