on the umtr website it was posted that ernie was in a 1 car accident and was cut out of the car and air lifted to toledo.jim edwards said he would post more updates as available.please keep ernie and family in your thought's and prayers.

Been on the phone with my sister, she's a big wheel at the Toledo hospital she's going to try and get some info on Ernie. I'll post as soon as I know something. Lets all hope for the best. Joe

Sis just called back, Ernies in St. V's hospital Room 555 She said he is stable but didn't know the nature of his injuries. Joe

jim talked to mike ernie's son and said the doctor said he has a collapsed lung broken ribs and a fractured back.when they were getting him out of the car he was in and out of consciousness.jim also said he has to get better so he can give him grief for driving an automatic.

Talked to Ernie tonight . He said he is real sore, and they have him all braced up for his back.They are going to move him to a place in his home town of Navarra Ohio. He is in good spirits for what he has gone through.I know it will pi$$ him off when him and Krisher can't go hunting. Anybody that knows THE ANIMAL ,knows he will be back.

Just got of the phone w/Ernie he is in pain but in good spirit,his direct line is 419-251-4949, tomorrow he will have X rays and sonogram of his leg .lets keep him in our prayers. I was told tha he was driving a bracket car .

Hi Bob Ernie was transfer to Canton Ohio,he is in ICU,looks like he will be tranfer to a room, soon as i get the info i will post it . Peter
