Magneto ignition help
 

Hi, Lee here. I am putting a magneto back together with a new winding unit. It is made by American mags and is on a welding machine. The new unit has 2 wires coming from it. I don't remember the old one having such. I know one wire goes to the points...where does the second wire go? Any help will be appreciated...thanks.

one is for power and the second one is for a tach (?)
