ford clutch help
Just put a new clutch set in my boys 93 ford explorer 4wd. Have no clutch pressure on the petal to disengage the clutch, has hydralic clutch, bled it like the ford manuals said but no luck. The only thing i did not replace was the slave cylinder, would that be the problem? I am a Chevy guy so I am not use to working on fords.

Re: ford clutch help
Terry, I have a on ocassion had to "reverse" bleed some systems.Take the slave cyl. loose allow the piston to extend then slowly push the piston in and release and repeat. The air if you have any has an easier time going up into the M.C. Just leave the cap off of M.C. until your'e done bleeding . Joe
