It was just a simple question
Why did I even bother asking a question on this forum? I dont give a damn about a red light, breakout, building a slow car, clean tree, dirty tree, or somebody telling me what I need to do. I was just asking a simple question!
NHRA attached a device to the tree to block the top three bulbs. Why didnt they block all five? If anyone knows why this is(NHRA, drivers, etc.) please reply,if not... then dont. Gary Norman |

Because you can't fix stupid; if you could, all those posts on the other thread wouldn't exist. Sorry for the hijack.

Alan,
I was referring to NHRA... and the folks there, who are more interested in de-stabilizing Stock Eliminator by assigning idiotic HP factors to 700 HP blown engines, than fixing a 36-year-old software problem... You're surely not stupid, and I'd be the last one to accuse you of that. And, I apologized for the hijack. It's not about you.... or anyone else on this board. Sorry for the confusion. |
Re: It was just a simple question
Gary, sorry about these other guys... -=sigh=-
I believe that the blinder on the tree is supposed to cover not only the ambers, but also the green light, as noted here: http://www.nhradiv1.com/content/divt...4728&zoneid=24 Granted, those are Bracket Finals rules, but that's how I remember the blinder being configured when they first started blinding the tree in the first place. They left the red light open, so you could tell if the other guy fouled. |
