1986 Camaro Classification Question

Hi, I have a 1986 base model Camaro and I'm not sure which weight break to use. I looked at the NHRA Stock Car Classification and for the Stock factor with a 305/155/258 with Auto, it lists

CAMARO 101
Coupe 2 Dr 11.33
Coupe 2 Dr Berlinetta 12.06
Coupe 2 Dr W/700-R4 Auto 12.26
Coupe 2 Dr Z-28 12.22
Coupe 2 Dr IROC Z 12.40

It is not a Berlinetta, Z-28 or IROC Z, so that leaves Coupe 2 Dr and Coupe 2 Dr W/700-R4 Auto. The car came from the factory with a 700-R4, but a 3 speed would be used. So do I use 11.33 which is a natural G car, or use 12.26 which is a natural I car. Thanks.

You can use either.

Re: 1986 Camaro Classification Question

Thanks for the reply. So if I can use both breaks, does this mean I could run the exact same combo in F, G, H, I & J by just changing the weight? (Probably not practical since the difference in min. weight is 516 lbs. between F and J for the 305/155) I just want to make sure I understand fully. Thanks again.
