I was #130 going into the last qualifing run on Sat. @-.635, ... I had to put it on kill to get in . -.73 only was good for #113! ... Probably could have gone faster, if I would have changed fuel, I didn't realize how much the heat affected the C-11 . .... I had a bad stumble that I never had with C12,but didn't put 2+2 together untill it was too late. .... Even with the warm weather, there were some kick *** runs made there. .... Tom

Wow...Honestly, I didn't know they had 128 car qualified fields at division races. You better not have an off day if you're running Stk or S/S in Div. 1!
Tough luck to those that didn't make it...better luck next race! Jason Oldfield S/G & S/ST 1838 |
Just look at all the FREE money NHRA picked up from a bunch of dumb ***** racers trying to inflate thier egos. It would be less expensive to just MAIL in your money and save the gas.

Sheesh ! that's gotta pull some major vacuum. Damn, I might have been around 146th ! You guys are tough !
note to self, no Div 1 stuff until I get Woodro to work on a 305 again..... No frogs were harmed in this gig, so noone call the ascpa on me yet! I hope they will replace that win light , on my side ! It looks like yours still works ?! STK 2894 |
What's more impressive folks, is the fact that many National Champs come from this division. Nothing against the other divisions, but racing in D1 is always a challenge, 7 round races are the norm.

I went -.66 on my first run and never thought I would be worried about staying in the program so I did not try any tricks to speed it up for sat's early run. I wound up #123. At least one car got in as an alternate. I let the heat get to my feeble brain and went red in rd.1 against an opponent who must have been having trouble. Robert , my friend I was rooting for you against Scotty R. rd. 2 ......You looked good on the tree but I guess you slowed up and the "PornoMobile" got around you.

Joe Mocci and others , remember the NSCA is at Cecil County the same weekend as the Englishtown National Event, only a Sat & sunday event, $1,500 to win, everybody runs, and even a qualifying run Sunday Morning, what more do you want, and did i say, only $100 entry fee.
NO EXCUSE not to be there, 150 plus Stockers at the Grove, none at all. "Nitro Joe" Jackson www.nitrojoes.com nitrojoe@neo.rr.com |
