Are there any heavy hitting -1.00 under Max Wedge Super Stockers?

If there are any, can someone post pics. Me and my dad haven't seen any Super Stock Max Wedge cars in years.

I'm trying to get my car "up to date" as F A S T as i can, oh and it's got a REAL transmission in it! 438 inch Max Wedge with a G-Force 4-speed.

I know I'm dreaming of spending other peoples money, but I find it hard to beleive nobody runs a MAX WEDGE in NHRA super stock eliminator. Maybe if you have the money you just go for the top...SS/AH? There are legal stockers running 9.70's. Also a lot of people run the NSSA with them, of course they are of a not so legal breed (NHRA rules). Last good Max Wedge car in super stock that I know of was Mike Cissell who was running 9.60's ten years ago out in Florida. If I could only win the Powerball!!

The potential is there but the Hemi is where the money and R&D go. The max can run in C so I'd say if the Hemi didn't exist the best of them would be in the 9.0-9.2 range and the rules would have to be bent a bit as they were with the Hemi with the carb's and mani's, Paul.
