Srac
I noticed that NHRA is seeking new volunteers for the newest version of the Sportsman Racer Advisory Council. Here's the big questions.
1. Was anythings accomplished by the last SRAC? 2. What could be accomplished by by the new SRAC? Just curious. |
Re: Srac
We were more active the first year than last year....I think we accompolished a number of things....but we could have done much more....but they are trying.....you see the classes at almost all of the events.....I think I answered a bunch of questions.....I would do it again.....
Lets hear everybody's issues....for 2010.... Rock Haas |
Re: Srac
lower the index's
s/c 8.00 s/g 9.00 s/st 10.00 |
Re: Srac
leave the indexs alone......not everyone has the budget to have a mid seven sec dragster to run 8.90.........if anything put a mph limit on the cars maybe that will help...

Re: Srac
Things were accomplished, but like everything else, we'd all like to see more done. In truth, a lot of input from the SRAC influenced rule changes in the Super Stock/Stock and Comp classes, more so than in the super categories. There really isn't a lot of rule/policy issues in the super classes, but anytime we're able to have "their" ears, we need to take advantage of it.

I know it's been hashed over about a million times, but an MPH limit would be nice.........;)

Re: Srac
Get rid of the rule that if you run S/St you can't run any other class. What is the difference between running SG and SC or SG and SST? Stupid rule...and don't give the "its an entry level class" line.

Re: Srac
I agree with Alex, time to lift the rule, look how many IHRA racers will come over to race then.
Plus i still feel there will be many that have 8.90 & 9.90 cars that will go to 9.90-10.90 (ones that don't really like driving TV antennas towers, lol) |
