Nitro Jam Rookie Question
Can a class car also be entered into the ET bracket race at PBIR? I have heard yes and no and quickly flipped through the IHRA rulebook but did not see any mention of it.
I just automatically assume one can race 1 car in 2 classes but looking for clarification. Thanks everyone!! Jeremy Preston SG 2221 ST 2201 |
Re: Nitro Jam Rookie Question
No, you can't run the same car in two classes.
But you can run seperate cars in 2 classes. |

Re: Nitro Jam Rookie Question
Last year if you were out of competition before the bracket race started you could enter it.

Re: Nitro Jam Rookie Question
ET race has a maximum number of entries. What Chip is referring to will only work if the class is not full. FYI

Re: Nitro Jam Rookie Question
Jeremy,
Two years ago @ Epping I entered both Stock and ET bracket. You should have two cars with you, if you win round 1 of your class entry, you can't use it in ET. I won round 1 of stock, and ended up having to use my 4-runner in ET(70 challenger was marooned at shop due to rollback brake line disaster).....broke out against this years stock finalist Sheppard with his duster in round 2 of ET.....so close.... If in doubt send mike Baker an Email and if you don't here back, follow up with a phone call. I never got an answer from the PBIR people re the time breaks for ET for box and no-box, so check on that too before you pull the trigger for box versus no box your SG car might be too fast for no-box. Too far for me to tow from MA, good luck and have fun. Eric Stk 1883 Quote:
