Random thoughts from Pomona
 

It was great to get away from all of the snow and cold in NJ. Always fun to hook up with some of our west coast friends ( Chuck Norton , Jim DeFrank , Phil Mandella, Steve Wann, Paul Wong ,Mark Faul , Bernie Cunningham, Brett Brown and Alex Denysenko.) Got to spend some time also with some new friends; Dick Meierhenry , Tony Janes , John Calvert , Scott Burton and Dic Geary. Working Tech enabled me to put some faces with names which is always fun as well. This was my second trip to Pomona in 5 years ( first time for my wife) and the weather this time was spectacular ! We need to send a few thank you's to a few for their hospitality : Jim DeFrank , Frank Grossi and the best hosts you can find away from home , Art and Jan Peterson !!! It was also great to see a good showing from many Div. 1 racers as well. Thanks to all for a great trip !!!

Dave - Glad you and Gloria could get out of the snow and enjoy some sunshine for a few days -- sure wish I could have talked you guys into coming to Phoenix ..................
