Well, we may not be great, but as my dad said we are "close to greatness" as he pointed over to Art and his car, were pitted next to him and he reset his own ET record old 12.74, new 12.72 SS/GS

Congrat to a great guy and a class act. Weve been fortunate to dine with him the last 2 nights and the trip would have been well worth it

It's getting there. I'm still off a tenth and a half in the short times. But the new motor is making some power. I went 107mph, the previous best was 103. Trying to get the short time sorted before Belle Rose. It's in the fuel/spark curve

Art is my neighbor and he continues to impress me with his passion for the sport, his offer to help folks, and encouragement of others in pursuing their passion ( drooze comes to mind). Congrats on sticking with it and getting another # 1. Best of luck at Belle Rose!

Now, if I can just get a photo of Art in his Winnie the Pooh sweatshirt and Larry Hill standing next to him (bout the only two guys who see 'eye to eye') in a Pink Panther sweatshirt I'll consider my drag race photo album complete.
