Non Perishable Food Drive at the Division 3 Indy Race
 

As we begin the 2010 Lucas Oil Series season at O’Reilly Raceway Park here in Division 3, I’d like to ask those of you attending to assist in showing our support for the communities we race in. The plan is to collect boxed nonperishable food items which will be donated to two organizations fighting hunger in the Indianapolis area.

The items will be split between Gleaners Food Bank and Second Helpings. My friends at the Indiana Rail Road have not only agreed to make sure the items get delivered, but to also participate with us and collect donations from their fellow employees too. Working with Jay at the Div 3 office and Ron at ORP, donation would take place during tech in hours on Thursday Noon-6pm, Friday 8-5, and Saturday 8-Noon.

Cans are Ok, I just don't think they have any way to handle loose cans. (Like a 50 row high pile of tomato paste in the supermarket end cap.) Cans in boxes would be fine.
