Well after a ton of consideration and the great deal Daran Summerton gave us we have decided to buy the 79 Z-28 that Daran has. We will also continue to work with Drooze on getting the Monte Carlo and build it as a second car for the kids to alternate driving and get some track time. We will be getting the car in the next week or so and will be building a 350 combo if anybody has some spares. We plan to add caltracs to the Z-28 along with new slicks and aftermarket axles. Thank you all for your support and donations. We could not do this without you and hope to see you all very soon at the races. We will post pictures and progress reports as soon as we get the car. Man that's a good looking car! LOL Glad it's going to a good cause. I'd start with a 350 crate motor since your in the heart of IHRA. Daran

It does look good don't it. Man that was a lot of sweat we put into it. LOL:D. Think we are gonna stick to NHRA for now. We will run some IHRA too but plan to build NHRA legal. I still have a few tricks to make it fast. LOL
