Anyone know the model number of the accepted Edlebrock carb for a 79 350 combo?

No it doesn't. The only difference in the carbs is the linkage. The 1901 is similar to the ones from 1966-1973 whereas the1902's is like the ones from 1974 and up. Both have provisions for automatic kick-down cables for street use. Danny
