AFHS issue....
I hope i can get my point across......
In the "old" AFHS system, a combo could not only be penalized....but if enough cars went slow enough, the combo would be rewarded (automatically) with a hp reduction. I believe the numbers were something like average had to be around -.75. This did happen to a 360 chrysler combo that we have used in the past. This combo got back 20 hp over a 3 year period. I can NOT find this type of hp adjustment being offered in the new (2010) AFHS. Maybe Bruce or Travis could look into this for us. Tom Sheehan |

Re: AFHS issue....
If this was a revision... I can't find the old program on the website.
++++ IF it was still part of the new AFHS... we'd see the new math (with the indexes lowered .3) |
Re: AFHS issue....
Older Mopar motors are getting hp back. Same with certain Chevy combo's.

Re: AFHS issue....
Tom, It was -.40 but you are correct.
Back before the AHFS someone could complain to the HP committee and they would give you HP if they wanted. I had this happen several times when I ran the Caddy. You had to write the HP committee and request HP be taken off your combo but you better have a good reason. Jim |
