IHRA and the DP
Ok, any IHRA Gurus here wanna chime in on this it would be appreiated.
On of my favorite local tracks is an IHRA track.... I have heard the CJ's and DP's have their own class in the IHRA ? What is it ? Will / Can an NHRA Comp Liscence cross over to the IHRA or do I need to "recert" as in passes etc ? Im not looking at making a move away from the NHRA but for some of the events in our area it would be nice to race with my friends who almost exclusivley run there and under the IHRA banner (if any) Any tips / hints would be great for getting all the "ducks" in a row paperwork wise. Cheers Chris |
Re: IHRA and the DP
IHRA still has seperate classes for EFI / Carb cars. The CJ's which fit only in AA are alone in AA/FI and AA/FIA. The DP will share classes with the LT1 & LS1 cars as they do now but within the FI class structure, just no carb cars.

Re: IHRA and the DP
DP should be able to run at the same weight break it runs NHRA, just the class letters are different.
See you in Chicago next weekend. |
