Any suggestions?
As many of you know, I just took over the machine shop from my dad, Jimmy.. I have been working with him for a long time now, but thought that I would ask some other opinions-- this is a set of 350 heads and from looking at the pics, does anyone have any suggestions or anything that you see needs to be addressed?

Re: Any suggestions?
Inspect, clean and grind the old valves or check new ones. Install the valves, springs, keepers, seals and retainers. Clean up your tools/valve grinding area. Ask more specific questions. Seriously, what is the question?

Re: Any suggestions?
That looks like a 416 casting, a 305 head, 1.720 intake,1.500 exhaust. Usually, the guides are shot, the valve stems are worn out, and the seats are pretty deep because of the use of unleaded fuels. To properly rebuild a set of heads, magnaflux, clean, replace guides and seats, ream for new valves, install new valves, springs, seals and hardware. That alone runs a customer around $500-650 depending on how bad everything is. That's just a basic head rebuild.Anything Stock Eliminator is WAY more. Good luck with your enterprise.

Re: Any suggestions?
looks like 350 "truck" head...624 cast#....some SS cars run it with the supposedly 1.84 Intake valve.never have seen a pair with the 1.84 valve from factory-was always smaller in every set I had in my shop.....Vic
