Nothing better than Cal Tracs on an A body Mopar.

I can't answer your question totally only that I have used the S/S springs with very good success just by setting pinion angle, discarding the snubber, and clamping the front segments of the springs with a set of 12 way adhustable QA1s. I run a 30"X9" Hossier radial with 21 psi and usually hooks real well. Weight distrubution @ 50/50. However the spring life lately has been awful so I swithced to the Cal Tracks with split monoleaf springs. The installation was a breeze and the car feels stable on the big end. I did not see any increase in ET but not enough data maybe picked up a little on MPH by getting the tail down. I should mention this is a foot brake car with a 340 30over steel headed coupled to a SELECT converter and 904 with 5.13s. The car has not done big wheel stands since. Hope this helps you in your decsion. I switched to them just because someone like John Calvert has tried to build a better mouse trap.

I've run Tri-City Launcher springs with and without Cal-Tracks and then Cal-Tracks with the split-leaf. By far the Cal-Track bars with the split leaf was the best move for me. You will reduce your leaf spring weight by about half when you go from a multi-leaf spring (especially if you had a stiff / race multi-leaf such as a SS Mopar spring) to a split leaf from Calvert. That weight savings can be placed right back in the trunk where it does the most good.
