Pass Time from Las Vegas
A couple of minutes ago Robert Pond appeared on Pass Time. Ken Herring and the 2 contestants guessed times ranging from the high 11s to the high 12s! Evidently, none of them had a clue who Robert Pond is or what his '67 Fairlane is capable of; even though it clearly had AA/S on the windshield! He ran 10.10 which confirmed the fact that Ken Herring, the expert, knows basically nothing about NHRA Stock and Super Stock.

Past time and Stock/Super Stock shouldn't even be in the same sentence...

Re: Pass Time from Las Vegas
True that Herring isn't familiar with stock or super stock but... If Pond gave them the real horsepower that the engine put out, and not the NHRA rated HP, they would have had an idea of what it could run. Pond did a good job of downplaying what he had. Anyway Pass Time is a good show and i'd like to see more class cars on there.

Re: Pass Time from Las Vegas
When we were at Vegas and decided to run Pass Time on the second day of taping, they told us to please give the approx horsepower when asked. We were told Ken Herring was pissed over the fact that the racers wouldn't give the actual horsepower only the factory rated. They said to us while they realize we as class racers don't want to tell the world what we make for actual horsepower, if you want to be on Pass Time, they at least expect you to give the contestants an approximation to make it fair.
