I've never had a "bracket mode" as I'm in the "let's rotate the earth every pass crowd".
But you'll see others:
That covers the legal stuff. Or at least all I can think of right now. |

I'm old school (heck, I'm old) like Jeff. What you see is all I got.

Here's a link to a great article from Dan Dvorak, and a quote: "This is our 10 step program that predictably yields fifteen hundredths. (.15 ET reduction) We know this because we have done this before, time after time. We call it “in the bag” Add to this the radial tires and there is the potential for 3 tenths “all of a sudden” This is how the big shots do it. You should be a big shot too!"

Dan is one of the regulars of the original Forum, and one smart guy.
I miss him posting. Being from the other coast, I have never met him, but really loved his passion for the sport and informative posts. C'mon Dan, start posting again. I know he must be lurking on here. |
Re: What do you do to prepare your car for a heads up run?
It's pretty widely known that Dan and I have been friends for over 30 years. We have a lot in common and are very passionate about our sport. We also fight like cats and dogs when it comes to politics. We couldn't be ant further apart when it comes to our political beliefs! That said, I love Dan like a brother and I'm sure he feels the same about me. Dan is an very smart man and has forgotten more than most know about racing and the mechanics there of. He has overcome much adversity and personal pain and I admire him for doing so. Dan is a colorful guy. It ain't easy being Dan! Jim

You forgot about Larry Hill's favorite: Dry ice on the manifold. :)
