I use 2 pieces of 3 inch PVC pipe Works great And I don't have a solid 10 foot section to deal with.

We made our own using ABS PVC and a 90* exhaust pipe from the local auto parts store --Cost me about $15-18 hours and took me about 1-1 1/2 houra to fabricate mine

I have a Honda EU3000 which exhausts through a grill. It does not really have an exhaust pipe.

Anyone seen a rig that works with somthing like that?

Thanks,
Bill

I believe that the small carry around gens like yours are exempt from the ruling---It's the permanently mounted motorhome (onan/generac/kohler) generators that they are trying to enforce---With the portable gens you can relocate them away(like 20 feet in front of) from where the motorhomes are. That way your exhaust is not blowing right into some guys windows or his trailer/pit space. Comp387

A while back someone suggested using the electrical conduit bends that you can get at Lowes/ect.. They work very well and have a much nicer bend then the auto store stuff.

Re: generator exhaust

run the metal bend up into the 2" ABS, several inches. leave the air gap around the bottom. makes a small suction, pulls in fresh air and cools the temp. run the ABS way past the top of the roof.
glue a coupler to one section. the end of the other pipe which will go into the coupler needs to be sanded down so it will remove easily.
you could also fab up an adjustable 'leg' to support the ABS
