rule change pattern
Is it me or are all these new rules in SS the byproduct of people getting caught cheating? When they changed the chamber rule a while back there was some writeup in ND about the illegality of chamber mods then after Indy where I believe people got tossed for small infractions like .1 cc on the volume and other little things. they all of a sudden changed chamber rule. Is it to hard for NHRA to prove chamber is modified so they nitpick something else? with the advent of the lawsuit racers, are they afraid to stand their ground on something that is purely visual, when a number is easier to enforce? Then come the cranks and assorted journal diameter nonsense. Then all that stuff is legal, cant penalize the people that had it before its legal right? Now this titanium valve fiasco, is it possible they are already there and the rule change is like the former 2 examples ? Why penalize the pioneers of cheating when you can penalize the massess who are not? Im sure I missed some points here as im not very good at this keyboard diplomacy, just need to vent
