We can not get it all done in one day

And we need to give everyone a time run, and still have a back up for weather. Most of the racers I spoke with would prefer Friday over Monday

Monday would need to be the weather problem day if we ran Sat and Sun

Bob,
Most of us sportsmen racers are working people. We the sportsmen can have to work and most cannot take another day off. I myself cannot return on the Friday. The makeup for Atco should be on Saturday and Sunday. The race can be finished on Saturday and have a rain date of Sunday.

I suggest everyone who would rather race on Saturday than Friday, e mail him at blang@nhra.com!!!!

I got a reply that he is considering changing to Saturday and Sunday! I suggest all that want it changed e mail him asap!

He did say he doesn't think we can finish the race in one day! I disagree! I've been to plenty of IHRA doubles where we get two time runs the first day and complete the race well before dark, with a similar number of cars that are still left! That's assuming everyone comes back!

ATCO, N.J. – NHRA and Atco Raceway officials postponed racing this morning at Atco Raceway. The tentative plan is to return to Atco Raceway in two weeks on October 16-17 to complete the event. Round one of eliminations were completed on Saturday in a few classes, as was final qualifying for the remaining classes. Additional details will be posted on the NHRA Northeast Division website when they become available.
