removing rust from painted cast iron???
 

Got some old cast iron engine parts some have factory paint on them any suggestions on how to clean the paint off??? The rust is no problem I can dip them in rust remover but how do you get the paint off too???? Thanx Comp

I'd soda blast them then use a good high heat coating for CI.
