Looking at trading RV's, to use more at the track. Hope to race a lot more next year, and with kids need the RV. Looking at an '04 Allegro Tiffin, 33' with 8.1 Chevy and 5 spd Allison. Workhorse chassis.

Currently have a 2000 Monaco class A with the Ford V10. I do not like the motor and hate the trans. Know this will upset some, but I do not like it, and know too many that have had trouble with it. It is a nice RV, but not for towing. I know the diesel pusher is better, etc. Can not afford to invest that much right now. I have had a 2500 HD with Duramax and Allison for 8 years, love it... tows great. Just hard to sleep in! Want something with the Allison trans.

Will be pulling at 24-28 box with stocker.

Don't know about towing, but Workhorse has a recall on W20/W22 chassis for front brakes that have failed. Be sure it has been done if it falls under those chassis. I have a W16 chassis and like it a lot, but has different brakes.

I have towed with both a 99 37' tropical v10 and 30 haulmark edge trailer and a
2003 allegro 35' with the 8.1 and allison trans. both did there jobs well but the allegro with the workhorse chassis had more power and better fuel economy,also liked how the allison trans felt on downshift.the workhorse would eat up plug wires until we put in some air ducts to help with air flow under the dog box.
