Not sure how everyone else feels, but could it be on a worse weekend?

I've always thought the weekend before PRI would be good

I have to agree with Evan. Thanksgiving weekend is difficult at best for a lot of folks. What's wrong with the following weekend?

No contingency money or DRC coverage... not worth the 9.5 hr trip for me, regardless of the date. I do love the facility. Next Thanksgiving, I'll be running a big money Footbrake race in North Carolina. (running the event, not *in* the event) That being said, fix the first two issues, and either the week before or week after Thanksgiving would be fine.

Well you can never second guess the weather you get what you get. Love the track, the crew was friendly, except maybe the guy who timmed me out on a record run, never had that happen before, with out the head wind it could be really fast track. You think on a record run they would back you out and let you restage if you were taking too long or were having trouble staging as I was having problems with the brakes. Will get it next time.

Everybody I talked to agrees with you Jeff; could have at least restaged you so you'd have a shot at it. IF they have a open next fall ( a big if given the counts) then maybe they can convince them to move it.

Jeff, considering that the other car had cleared the top end and no one was in a rush I felt you should have been allowed to restage and make the run. The autostart got Tom and Andy first rd also. I have never seen it happen like that before. You will get it next time for sure. Best of luck.

Robert.
