Do you need to qualify to enter a national event in S/ST?
So.. as we embarq on year # 2 of S/ST racing and begin to plan the calendar, I have a question I am sure someone here can assist with. Sorry if it is posted elsewhere, but I searched and can't locate the answer.
Is it necessary to be invited or qualify via divisional points to run at a national event? If so, what is the criteria? Thanks! |
Re: Do you need to qualify to enter a national event in S/ST?
See the link for how the grade point system works, no qualifying per se but you pre-enter per the schedule (when you can enter based on your qty of grade points) up until the quota estalished by NHRA for the particular category at that race. You just need to successfully tech in at a divisional or national open event to earn a grade point.

Thanks much guys. We hope to run all the D2 events, so it sounds like we may be able to make it.
Happy New Year! See you in Bradenton. |
