Holley float "spring"

The Holley center hung float has a spring around the float pin. Do you, or you you not use that spring? Is there any fuel level control problem either way, if that spring is or is not in place? This question came up in testing lately so let me hear your experience.

Thanks

Re: Holley float "spring"

The spring your talking about is very light in tension and i think is intended as more of a damper than anything else. I think it helps maintain a more consistant float level on rough roads or wheelstands or what have you. Hope this helps....

This spring is VERY important and can affect the Fuel Curve, contact Braswell he make 3 differerent springs for this.
