welded aluminum head leaking, on car treatment?

This head was on an engine that broke a rod, chamber was damaged. Head was repaired but now I have "milk" in the valve covers.

Do we know of any chemical treatment that might seal it? Engine is still together and runs fine so I thought I could at least attempt a fix before tear down and redo.

I have a Scotty School race date in three weeks so it's a chemical fix or miss the school.

try either aluma seal or bars leak or see if the local pharmacy has water glass(sodium silicate) that stuff fixes pin holes in anything especially aluminum

The news is good. I pulled the spark plugs and all look fine. Then used shop air in each cylinder checking for bubbles in the radiator, no problem.

The drained oil looks fine. Looks like simply a case of condensation. As Little Wheel suggested I will use the GM "tabs" for insurance.

Also, this is a new Dart Little M block with blind holes.

I was concerned about a pin hole in the welded head but looks like that concern was unfounded.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

We we run the thin stamped aluminum valve covers (such as Moroso ) we often find quite a bit of condensation in top of cover (Milk Shake Constancy) particularly early or late in season when car has sat......we are used to it now...... and as long as rest of engine is OK: I quit worrying about it about 20 years ago..

I put a PVC valve on mine to stop it.

Also I found out a loong time ago that if we used Valvoline instead of other brands of oils that we would not have as much as a problem if any. we chased what we thought was a similar leak/head gasket problem for 1/2 a season til while talking to Bob Glidden at the 77 Gators he suggested the Valvoline.Never looked back at it since

Ed, I like the PCV valve suggestion. What part # or application valve do you run?

We tried that plastic valve that plugs into the power brake booster on a 70s-80s GM
car that seemed to work quite well too

That condensation made us a lot of money years ago. We had big buck street races at the track. And we would pull a valve cover off and go around asking if it would hurt anything. The money piled up against us.
