86 trans am brake help

I've been having what i call i soft pedal in my car for the last 3 years, well since I've bulit my car. I used a Ed quay master cylinder and he re worked the pedal, i also run a biondo line lock, I have aerospace brake in the front and drum in the back. Debating weither or not to put disc on the back. I have 3\16 lines in the front and 1\4 in the back. The car won't hold above 2500 rpms and to get it any higher you feel like you are out of the seat. Need some advice on where to start looking to see if i can get the pedal any better.

I've been told I need put 1\4 line up front and also I need to change the rear to disc.

thanks

I would look into the rear brakes. Make sure they are adjusted properly. You need to make sure there isnt a lip on the rear drums to prevent proper adjustment.
