Re: 2011 Mustang

The car would not run, did not go over the scales after the pass.

Where was this? At the Bella Rose Sportsnats, I see 2 Mustangs DQ`d, a 69 in C/SA & Summers 85 Mustang in L/SA. I think Summers must be a typo, because he has always ran it in M,N,O,&P stick, as the 4 barrel 5.0 for 85 is stick only.

Re: 2011 Mustang

Mr. Summers ran the 85 car in SS and the 2010 convertible in stock. he was having issues with rocker arms on the ss'er and injection system on the stocker all weekend. He packed up and went home on saturday afternoon.

I believe that he ran a 10.77 in SS/N? That is crazy quick.

Re: 2011 Mustang

Let me clear all your minds and tell you what really happened at Belle Rose. I ran the 2010 Cobra Jet in L/SA. I did go across the scales but the fuel that I bought at the track the previous day didn't pass. I had some fuel injection problems so I only made one run. As for the 85 Mustang, running SS/N, I broke a rocker arm shaft and didn't have a spare one, so thanks to Wade Owens and Jeff Dona (who loaned me one from a Chevrolet!), I made one pass in the CIC race and redlighted because the line lock didn't work! So, yes, we had a bad weekend where nothing went right, so we packed up and went back to Kentucky.
