New HP effective today.
This should make some of the haters happy. LOL
3/22/2011 As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the JEGS.COM Cajun SportsNationals, the following changes have been made. The horsepower rating for 09-10 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, entries with the 360 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 275 currently rated at 284, has been increased by fifteen horsepower, to 299 horsepower; for Stock Eliminator. NHRA's 2011 Automatic Horsepower Factoring System outlines that any run of 1.20-second or more under the index will receive an immediate index decrease or horsepower increase. These changes are effective March 22, 2011. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Re: New HP effective today.
Still isn't even close to enough
Wasn't one run 10.48? at 121? The car is a C car So now the poor guys that work their cars to death in F get to have a soft combo in the other lane that can run what 10.60s -.70s? NHRA again you screwed up yes I know you don't care but you screwed up big time Karma says what goes around comes around..... |
Re: New HP effective today.
Ed & Mark ,
As I have always said , becareful what you wish for ??? Who's mad Now .......? Mark , you are dead on ... |
Re: New HP effective today.
Dave, I didn't wish for anything. Any class that car ones in for a while is going to be a thorn in somebody's side. It still needs some hp.
I have to race at least one in SS until they get factored correctly, and I'm going to go all I can to help them get there. |
Re: New HP effective today.
20 hp to 304 in IHRA and run F/I class . Did not hurt anyone over there yet..

Re: New HP effective today.
Like I posted somewhere, come on in. The waters fine. I got a few to sell. It's easy. Just ask anyone with one. You know, Bob Dennis told me last year he was so glad we came along so people quit beating on his combinations. Another year or two, the new stuff will outnumber the old. There is already talk about a Hemi Shoot Out using the 5.7,6.1 and 6.4. If racers want us out, the ask NHRA to establish a 6.0, 6.5, and 7.0 stock class and a 5.5 SS class so we can move up. I know Ford and Mopar are in favor of this and all it needs is a little push from the racers. See. Easy deal. There is no telling what Ford has in the future, and Mopar has some more coming.
