Apology
I owe an apology to James Perrone, Ken Miele and all Class Racer members for my negative and disrespectful comments toward James regarding the now deleted thread about Jim Wahl.
My disgust for all the negativity on this site got the best of me and it will never happen again. Frank Castros |
Re: Apology
Most readers of the post thought it went out of bounds. The name calling needs to stop, I have found myself calling no names an Azz H myself. It can get frustrating , glad Ken pulled it.

Re: Apology
I still do not understand why it started, as far as I could see it was baseless vitriol. It certainly spiraled out of control very fast. It might have been entertaining to some but it wasn't for me. Glad Ken took care of it. Thanks Ken. Jim

Re: Apology
I only read a few posts and at first thought it was friends bashing in a friendly bantering way.
I can see good friends saying stuff that at first would seem inappropriote, unless they were good friends. But this was a bit over the top, especially when I realised it wasn't in good fun but was actually serious. Wow, not pretty at all. Frank, to come on here and apologise says a lot about your character. Way to go. |
Re: Apology
I apologise for the foolish remarks and statements I made in defense of a fine stock class mopar racer. I had no right to intervene in the fued, and promise to conduct myself in a more intelligent and gentlemanly manner in the future. And since I am not a stock class racer. I'll leave that up to ya'll until I get the Dakota built. Was just being the typical redass in defense of another mopar racer that does a fantastic job with his car. Once again, I apologise from the bottom of my outlaw heart..And too Mickey...I look forward to meeting you and sharing that Jim Beam. I'll bring the Turbo Dog and LaBatt and if it is in season some gator. And to Chad I offer an apology: You did a great job at Baton Rouge, guess you were just a little to quick on the trigger.

Re: Apology
We are all adults on this board, and as such, all have our personal ideas and preferences as to how we spend our time.
Case in point; if I am watching TV (an elective choice, as is this BB activity) and a program comes on that I don't want to spend my time watching, I turn it off, change the channel, or leave the room, if others are watching. The choice is mine. I'm not forcing MY opinion on anyone else; it's just MY opinion of how ~I~, alone, want to spend MY time. Anyone can exercise that option. Anyone. In a similar way, if I encounter a BB "feud" that gets what ~I~ would consider "out of hand" and reverts to name-calling and other such time-wasting B.S., I don't read any more of it, if it bores, or offends me... I just "change the channel" and go to the next unread post. I don't see why some people find it necessary to censor, or delete posts that THEY find offensive, when it's so easy to avoid wasting the reader's time by just clicking on the next post. Nobody puts a gun to my head and makes me read this stuff. But, that's just me.... It's no big thing with me, this censorship and deleting of posts, but it would seem both undesirble and unnecessary, since the "offending" posts are so easy to avoid. Obviously, some people find that there is plenty of justification for imposing THEIR standards on others, by censorship, or supporting the idea of censorship. I just don't see it... "Change the channel..." end of problem.... and you've not imposed ANYthing on ANYbody. |
