buick 350 head gaskets

I have been using felpro permatorque head gaskets on my 68 buick 350 motor and after some decking to correct some issues from past motor work the compression ratio rose from 10.5 to about 12.5 and have blown out a few head gaskets.I've been looking for better gaskets with no luck other than to go to a copper gasket that means ringing the cylinders .there are no mls gaskets available that I could find and the cost of having a set made seems to be not an option. If any body out there has any info on head gaskets for a buick 350 it would be greatly appreciated.

Try Cometic if available......they have solved a lot of problems on our Mopars.

I have run the copper gaskets without the rings on several engines and never had a problem, My current 360 bracket engine is 12.5-1 and has been going strong for 4 season now this way.

I talked to cometic and they wanted $3400 to start a die to make the gasket. but they did have a copper for the buick . I might try the copper without the ringing and see how it works, thanks for the info

TA performance 1-480-922-6807 sells both steel shim and copper head gaskets for a 350. Steel $95 set/ Copper $135 The steel are the factory design appox. .020 thick I believe, if you don't want more compression you can stack two. JKeihn3954
