Welding cracked headers
 

I was recently given a set of Hooker ceramic coated headers that are in fine condition except that they have some hairline cracks in the tubes near the ports and where the tubes enter the collectors. I understand from the Hooker website that they caution against breaking in an engine with the ceramic coated headers because of cracking problems. Any suggestions for welding them or is it not worth the effort?
