1996 Chevy S-10, why can't ot run in SuperStock?
 

After being inspired by JOE COKINOS'S ride, I looked further into the combo only to see it can't run SuperStock....

Does anyone know why?

No truck engines allowed in SS, ironically, not even in SS truck!

If they allowed it, we would have already built it. My dad wants to build a SS vortec V6 so bad. Joe's the one who got it stock legal. It's still a good combo with a lot left. I dont understand why because it's in the guide but maybe they don't want the headache.

I have a bunch of 4.3 V-6 parts somebody can have for nothing if they want to pick it all up. There's three blocks, six or so heads, manifolds, a TBI intake, lots of small parts. Whoever gets it takes it all . All three engines are take-outs from S-10 trucks and Astro mini vans. They all have the steel OEM roller cams. I had an S-10 Blazer years ago, hence the need for spare parts. PM me if you're interested.
