Timing chain & gears recomendation I/SA
:)I have a small block in I/SA and need a recomendation for timing chain and gears, I have a comp cams gears and chain,but a lot of slop,thus could this retard the cam?

New timing set? If the block was line bored/honed or it just has a smaller cam-to-crank measurement otherwise, you may need a slightly undersize chain set. Cloyes use to sell them. Chain tensioners are also made (Mopar and likely GM also), but I don't know if there are any disadvantages in a race application.

The Cloyes "Hex-A-Just" is a good choice. In addition, it is available in several chain lengths [ -.005 and -.010]

X2 on the Rollmaster. Fits much better than the other brands but, a little pricey.
