Low buck mopar build

You racers were very helpful with the spool vs. posi. Is it worth any HP/TORQUE to use a cast crank vs.a forged crank on a 273 or 318 build for a stocker motor? Does a heavier rotating assembly worth anything? Thanks

I got a cast crank in my new Drag Pak. Works ok for me.

1) More energy to accelerate.
2) Longer to slow down (dissipate energy).
3) Strains your muscles more to put it in the block.

My bracket 360 has a cast crank and well over 2000 passes. Works just fine.

That last part is far and away the most important. Lol

All "old school" 360 Stockers run a cast crank. Jim
